Employees Upset Over Closing of Homestead Job Corps

Several people are out of a job, and it may be connected to the murder of a South Florida teen.

Former employees of Homestead Job Corps Center are upset, saying they were unfairly let go.

It's the facility where 17-year-old Jose Guardado was staying this summer, when police said he was lured and murdered by five classmates.

Homestead Job Corps Center is closing down.

The former employees said they were told not to talk about the incident, and claim they were aware of behavioral problems at the facility.

So far, there has been no comment from facility officials.

Last month, a grand jury indicted the suspects on charges of first degree murder. They're accused of conspiring for weeks to kill Guardado.

All five suspects will face the death penalty if convicted.
