Ex-Miami Dolphins Player Among 280 Busted in BSO Operation

Igor Olshansky was released from jail on Friday

A former Miami Dolphins player was among 280 people arrested on Friday as part of a Broward Sheriff's Office bust of felons, drug dealers and prostitutes.

Igor Olshansky, 29, was arrested on a 19-gram marijuana possession charge, and released from jail on a $100 bond, The Miami Herald reported. It wasn't immediately known if he had an attorney.

Olshansky was discovered rolling a marijuana cigarette at his kitchen table, the arrest report said.

The bust was part of "Operation Cold Turkey,” which consisted of more than 200 local, state and federal authorities working together in the two-day crackdown.

“They flooded the streets,” said BSO spokeswoman Dani Moschella told the newspaper.
Authorities recoverd 15 weapons, about 2,000 Oxycodone pills, $35,000 in cash, among other items, the newspaper reported.

The sheriff's office said this was their biggest bust yet.

“We want them to stop crime cold turkey,” Moschella said.
