With the holiday season fast approaching, Florida Highway Patrol deputies and state officials are reminding motorists not to get behind the wheel when impaired.
The agency is joining with local law enforcement agencies in putting more officers on the streets and patrolling the highways across the state over the next weeks to discourage drunk driving – part of the “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” campaign.
FHP will be bringing in addition troops to help with the workload, while encouraging drivers to dial *FHP (*347) if they see an impaired driver or need assistance.
