The local celebrity car designer, Alex Vega, is asking the community for help in catching a shooter on the run.
Vega says he was ambushed and left for dead by the gunman in his own driveway nearly three months ago.
"Never did I expect anything like this to happen to me," Vega says.
The incident happened right outside Vega's garage at Southwest 118th Avenue and 99th Street, police say. He was struck several times in the back before his attacker fled on foot.
The 45-year-old designer to the stars was rushed to the hospital and survived his injuries.
Vega has since moved his family out of the home and is now offering his own ten-thousand dollar reward.
