Family Members Continue Search for Missing North Miami Woman Noemi Gonzalez

Gonzalez has been missing for almost a month.

Maria Castillo spent her Sunday morning handing out flyers.

She's still trying to find her sister, Noemi Gonzalez, by going door-to-door on West Dixie Highway and 132nd street, handing out flyers.

"It's the worst nightmare that we had had and we want to wake up from this, we want to hear from her and to find her," Castillo said.

It's been almost a month since Gonzalez disappeared from her own home on NE 136th street in North Miami. She was last seen wearing blue pants and a white top. And all her belongings, including her epilepsy medication, were left behind when she disappeared.

"We can never give up on finding my sister," Castillo said.

The family is offering $6,000 in reward money, an increase from the previous $5,000 offered, hoping they'll hear something, but so far there have been no leads. The family has also put up a giant billboard on the Palmetto Expressway hoping someone has seen her.

"I don't know how long it's going to take, but... we are going to stay here to look for her," Castillo said.
