Family Of Missing Coral Springs Woman Makes Plea To Public

Claudia Murphy disappeared four days ago at the intersection of Copans Road and State Road 441.

The family of a missing Coral Springs woman said on Tuesday that they aren't giving up the search for her – and Tuesday night police said they found Claudia Murphy's black 2005 two-door convertible.

It was tracked down in the parking lot behind 7932 Sample Road, police said.

But Murphy remained missing, four days after she disappeared at the intersection of Copans Road and State Road 441.

"We need to continue looking for Claudia. We cannot give up. I'm not giving up. My family, her family, we will never give up trying to find Claudia," said her husband Frank Murphy.

Coral Springs Police released photos of her at an ATM on University Drive in Coral Springs Friday around 1 p.m. An hour later, a friend says he saw her walking here at Copans Road and 441 in Margate. Since then, she and her black BMW convertible have been missing.

"If we can determine why she got of the car, we'd have a better insight into the story. We just don't know. There's no explanation why she would get out.," Frank Murphy said.

Murphy does not have her cell phone with her, her credit and debit cards have not been used, and neither has the SunPass in her car.

"Right now we have no indication as to what might have happened to Claudia," said Det Chris Collins.
