Heartbroken and searching for answers, a Hollywood family took to the streets Wednesday, where their loved one died in a fiery hit-and-run wreck.
The family of Jason Swanson handed out fliers in hopes it will trigger someone's memory as to who hit him.
"How can you not come forward and tell us what you saw that night?" said Greg Swanson, the victim's father. "We need closure, this is my son, a 30 year old son who burned on this driveway."
Hollywood police said the 30-year-old was hit as he was headed southbound on 56th Avenue near Washington Street on his motorcycle about 8:15 Sunday night.
Investigators said they determined from pieces left behind at the scene that it was a dark colored Ford Explorer that hit him. They also said the female driver had a young girl in the car with her.
"The driver and the juvenile passenger exited the vehicle, observed the victim to be laying on the ground, got back into the suspect vehicle and drove southbound on south 56th avenue," said Hollywood Police spokesperson, Meredith Elhrich. "Witnesses said they drove right around his body burning. Some people didn't even know it was a body burning."
When officers arrived they found Swanson on fire in the middle of the street. Investigators said the impact ignited Swanson's motorcycle and he died immediately.

Swanson's mother is pleading for the driver to turn herself in.
"The person that did this, if you're watching this newscast, you have a daughter, I'm sure you panicked when you saw this, please turn yourself in," said Laura Swanson.
Police said the woman was driving a dark colored 1987-2010 Ford Explorer Sport Trac that likely has damage to the lower passenger's side of the vehicle.
The child in the car with her was between 8-12 years old.
A reward of up to $3,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest. Anyone with info is asked to call Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
