Father of Parkland Shooting Victim Confronts Former Security Monitor

A former security monitor at a Parkland school where 17 people were killed says he's being harassed by a victim's father.

The Sun Sentinel reports Andrew Medina filed a complaint in Broward Circuit Court claiming Andrew Pollack showed up Wednesday at Pine Trails Park in Parkland and heckled the former monitor, who's now a youth baseball coach.

Pollack's daughter, Meadow, died in last February's shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. Pollack's suing Medina, accusing him of negligence for his actions during the shooting.

Medina told police after the shooting that he recognized shooting suspect Nikolas Cruz as an expelled student but didn't stop him or lock down the school. The school district fired Medina last year.

Pollack acknowledged going to the park, but denied being hostile. Medina's seeking a restraining order.
