Three people are dead after a fiery collision in Northwest Miami-Dade. The scene stretched several blocks near NW 178th street and 47th Avenue.

The fire was caught on camera after a series of wrecks that claimed the lives of 3 people. Two of them burned to death.

"They was just burning in there. It was so painful seeoing somebody dead and on top of that burning with nobody helping them. It's ridiculous," one witness at the scene said.

It happened around 5:30 in the morning. For hours several intersections were cluttered with car parts including an alternator, and front and rear bumpers. An open book rested in the middle of the street and a VHS tape was strung along the road. It was a sing-a-long video for kids.

According to police the wreck started with a Mercedes Benz. It rear ended a PT Cruiser, causing it to spin into the opposite lanes. The cruiser struck a Ford F-150. The driver of the F-150 survived. But the cruiser and its passengers caught fire. Witnesses say it seemed like a lifetime before helped arrived.

The medical examiner hasn't yet identified the three victims. But friends and family tell us the driver of the Mercedes that crashed into that home was Christian Ruiz, a father of 3. Police are still investigating but say speed my have been a factor.
