A Miami Beach tanning salon was damaged after a fire broke out Wednesday.
Miami Beach Police said a patron was using a tanning bed at Copper Tan at 6th Street and Washington Avenue when they smelled smoke.
The flames quickly spread to two tanning rooms as some of the people inside called 911 and tried unsuccessfully to put the flames out, officials said.
Firefighters quickly put out the fire but not before it caused extensive damage. No injuries were reported.
Officials said the fire was caused by bad wiring.
