An iPhone, Nike sneakers and a wallet containing $55 dollars were among the items stolen from a Coral Springs firefighter during his killing, new documents show.

Firefighter Christopher Randazzo's car keys and knife were also taken from him during the Oct. 19 killing, according to arrest warrants released Monday.

Three suspects - Torrey Holston, 19, Jose Garcia Romero, 20, and Marco Rico, 32 - are set to face first-degree murder, armed robbery and conspiracy charges in the killing of Randazzo, Broward Sheriff's Office officials said. The body of Randazzo, a member of the Coral Springs-Parkland Fire Department, was found slain near the Southern Seas on the Ocean Hotel in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, officials said.

According to an arrest report, the three suspects had been involved in a shooting at a Motel 6 in Lantana just hours before the killing of Randazzo. A man had been shot at but wasn't injured at the hotel, and the suspects fled the scene, the report said.

While investigating the killing of Randazzo, authorities determined a possible vehicle used was a Nissan Sentra, the same vehicle detectives believed Rico was driving in the Motel 6 shooting, the report said.

Investigators found Rico's girlfriend, who said she had been at the Motel 6 and was picked up by Rico and two other men, the report said. The girlfriend said the Motel 6 shooter was Holston, though she hadn't witnessed the shooting, and said that the gun used had been stolen, the report said.

Another woman who said she was also in the car when the men went to the Motel 6 said Holston had pulled out his gun and said "this is my military weapon," according to arrest documents obtained by the Sun-Sentinel.

"They continue to talk each other up saying things like 'we are real thugs and we got guns,'" the woman told detectives, according to the documents.

Lantana Police arrested Holston on Thursday and Romero and Rico on Friday, officials said. All were being held in Palm Beach County on charges related to the Motel 6 shooting. The three haven't been formally charged in Randazzo's death.

Randazzo, 39, attended the Coral Springs Regional Institute of Public Safety in 2018 where he earned his firefighter certification, and earned his paramedic license the same year. He was hired by the Coral Springs-Parkland Fire Department in March of 2019.
