Firefighters Battle Miami Trailer Park Blaze

Officials investigate fire that ripped through mobile homes

Authorities are investigating a fire that ripped through a Miami trailer park Tuesday.

Firefighters were called to the Riverpark Trailer Park at Northwest 27th Ave. and 22nd St. shortly after 11 a.m. after they received reports that a mobile home was on fire.

Members of Miami Fire Rescue and the Miami-Dade Fire Department had the blaze under control in about an hour.

No one was injured in the fire, officials said. The extent of the damage to the mobile homes in unknown.

Several streets in the area were closed as investigators looked into what caused the fire.
