Authorities are investigating after firefighters found a man's body while extinguishing a fire at a Pompano Beach storage facility Monday morning.
Firefighters responded to the warehouse at 1000 S. Dixie Highway around 11:49 a.m. and found two bays of the self-storage warehouse on fire, Pompano Beach Fire Rescue spokeswoman Sandra King said.
The man's body was found after firefighters forced entry into the bays, King said. Firefighters were able to contain the blaze and no other injuries were reported.
Investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire and the man's death.
