Fire rescue crews responded to a gas leak in Lauderhill Tuesday morning.
The leak was reported in the 1100 block of Northwest 45th Terrace, officials said.
The area was evacuated and residents and motorists were advised to stay clear of the area.
Officials said the gas leak was secured with the help of the Sunrise Fire Department's Hazmat team.
