We are looking at a pretty decent day today all things considered. Humidity will be high but rain chances will only be running 30 to 40 percent. Highs will top out around 86 degress.
This weekend will feature periods of rain as a tropical disturbance pulls out of the western Caribbean and moves into the eastern Gulf of Mexico. This disturbance now has a 70 percent chance of developing into a tropical system. The center of this system should be well west of us, which means strong winds won’t be an issue, but heavy rain seems probable. Highs this weekend will be in the low-mid-80s.
Rain chances should begin to drop early next week but scattered rain is still quite likely. Highs will respond an move back into the mid-upper 80s.
