After a rather soggy afternoon on Thanksgiving, get ready for showers and a few storms to follow into Black Friday.
A cold front, just up the road in Central Florida, will be on the move tomorrow with scattered showers and storms expected for the shopping holiday.
Showers are possible from the early morning until the late afternoon when the front finally pulls through South Florida, taking the moisture away.
While the holiday weekend may have started off on a rather wet note, a nice payoff awaits for the weekend.
For Friday, count on mostly cloudy skies with highs in the lower 80s. Showers and storms will be possible from nearly start to finish, with rains likely to end late in the afternoon.
By Friday night, cooler and drier air will settle in behind the cold front allowing for mostly clear skies and lows in the mid-60s.
For Saturday and Sunday, look for low humidity and a rain-free forecast. Morning lows will hover in the middle 60s while the afternoons touch 80.
As we wind through the last few days of the Atlantic hurricane season, there are currently no areas of potential development to watch.
