A Florida man was arrested after he threatened to "shoot up Disney" on Facebook, authorities said.

Derek Eitel, 23, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of written threat to injure or kill, according to the Brevard County Sheriff's Office.

Authorities say Eitel wrote in a Facebook group, "5 likes and I'll go shoot up Disney and hang myself," WESH reported.

"With it being near the anniversary of the Pulse shooting and knowing that Disney was one of those targets as well, that adds a little bit more to this," sheriff's office spokesman Tod Goodyear said.

Eitel's father told WESH his son suffers from autism and said he "made a terrible mistake."

Jail records showed Eitel was being held on $100,000 bond Thursday. Attorney information wasn't available.
