    Deputies in one Florida county say a man kept calling them multiple times this weekend – to report his roommate for allegedly stealing $20 worth of his marijuana.

    NBC affiliate WFLA-TV reports the incident took place Saturday in Pasco County, located just north of Tampa. The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office put messages on social media showing the interaction between the man who called and one of their deputies.

    “The guy’s calling in saying his roommate stole his weed– $20 worth,” Deputy Zalva explained. “I called him to let him know not to call the sheriff’s office to report his drugs.”

    Officials did not say if the man was taken into custody for reporting his drugs – or if his roommate eventually paid him back.
