Police are investigating after a man was shot and killed in the parking lot of a Department of Corrections probation office in Miami Gardens in a killing that was caught on camera.
The shooting happened around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday outside the probation office on Northwest 167th Street, Miami Gardens Police officials said.
Officials said two suspects approached the victim as he was pulling into the parking lot and shots were fired. When officers arrived, the victim was found dead in the car.
Surveillance footage showed the suspects approaching the car and running from the scene. Police said it was a targeted shooting but the motive was unknown.
Police identified the victim as 33-year-old Prince J. Taylor and that they don't know why he was at the probation office.
