A Fort Lauderdale neighborhood was evacuated Wednesday after workers cut a gas line causing a leak, fire officials said.
The three-inch line was cut at 3604 Southwest 13th Court, Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue officials said. It has since been capped.
A Hazmat crew responded and the area was evacuated, officials said. The leak was quickly capped.
No further information was immediately available.
