Four Seasons Hotel in Surfside Evacuated for Chemical Smell

Two people treated at the scene, officials say

The Four Seasons Hotel in Surfside was evacuated Tuesday after a strong chemical smell was reported, officials said.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue officials said they responded after the smell was reported around 10 a.m. at a loading dock at the hotel at 9011 Collins Avenue. The hotel was evacuated as a precaution, officials said.

Four people were treated at the scene but no one was taken to the hospital.

No other information was immediately known.
