Four Young People Shot in Liberty City

Four people were taken to the hospital after being shot Saturday evening in Liberty City.

The incident happened a little after 6:15 p.m. Officials told NBC 6 the victims were 13, 16, 19 and 20 years-old.

Officials confirmed that the young men experienced non-life threatening injuries. Three of the victims hurt their arms. One victim’s leg was injured during the shooting in the Liberty City area.

They are being treated at Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Police said that when they arrived to the scene near Northwest 14^th Avenue and 62^nd Street, they noticed a house in the area had also been struck by gunfire.

Fortunately, officials confirmed that no one inside the home was hurt.
