Fourth Grade Students and Their Parents Get Free Year Long Passes to National Parks

Students entering the fourth grade this year – as well as their parents – are getting a chance to visit national parks across the country free of charge for an entire year.

As part of President Obama’s “Every Kid in a Park” initiative last year, every student will get a pass good for each and every single park and other federal lands during their fourth grade year. The pass will be good from September of that student’s year until the following August.

You can sign up for the pass by clicking here.

The initiative is part of the Obama administration’s effort to get more school children outdoors and doing activities.
