    Gas Prices See Slight Increase In Last Week

    What to Know

    • If you’re heading to the gas station Monday to fill up your tank before work or school, prepare to spend more money this week for a gallon.

    • In Broward County, the lowest gas price is $2.49 at the Valero along Southwest 24th Street and 12th Avenue in Fort Lauderdale.

    • In Miami, the lowest gas price is $2.51 at the Rocket fuel station along Flagler Street and 57th Avenue.

    If you’re heading to the gas station Monday to fill up your tank before work or school, prepare to spend more money this week for a gallon of fuel.

    The average cost in Miami and Fort Lauderdale is $2.64, up 14 cents from this date last month and 25 cents from last year according to AAA. Across Florida, the average of $2.61 per gallon is 16 cents higher than last month and 32 cents higher than this date in 2017.

    There are several locations to find gas cheaper than that. In Broward County, the lowest gas price is $2.49 at the Valero along Southwest 24th Street and 12th Avenue in Fort Lauderdale.

    In Miami, the lowest gas price is $2.51 at the Rocket fuel station along Flagler Street and 57th Avenue.
