Gas Prices Rise Slightly in South Florida This Week

Drivers in South Florida will be spending a few more pennies to fill up at the gas pump this week.

The average price for a gallon of fuel rose nearly two cents to $2.28 according to GasBuddy. That number is still 22 cents lower than this time last year and nearly 16 cents lower than this time last month.

Across Florida, prices dropped one cent to $2.13 for a gallon on average – which is 32 cents lower than this time last year and 18 cents lower than this time last month.

In Miami-Dade, you can get gas for $1.99 at the Costco in Miami Lakes on Northwest 59th Avenue and 167th Street and for $2.15 at the Sunoco in Miami Gardens on Northwest 27th Avenue near 183rd Street.

In Broward, you can find gas for $2.07 at the Costco on Pines Boulevard and Dykes Road in Pembroke Pines and $2.09 at the Amerika station on Sunrise Boulevard and Northwest 65th avenue in Plantation.
