Get Your Free Eclipse Glasses From These Broward Libraries

On August 21, the first total solar eclipse in 99 years will be seen across the continental United States.

Experts encourage folks to consider eye safety when experiencing the eclipse. Special-purpose solar filters are needed to protect the eye. Broward County is handing out free eclipse glasses during a number of programs celebrating the solar event. These programs are being held at libraries across the county.
