    Girl Missing From Lauderdale Lakes Found Safe

    A 5-year-old girl who went missing was found safe, and family members say she was put on the wrong bus. (Published Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2016)

    Authorities have found a 5-year-old girl who went missing in Lauderdale Lakes Tuesday.

    Shinelle Isaac had been last seen around 2:35 p.m. at Central Charter at 4525 N. State Road 7, Broward Sheriff's Office officials said.

    She was reported missing by her parents at 6:30 p.m. after they were unable to locate her.

    Officials said they found her alive and well and she was reunited with her parents.

    Family members said Isaac was found at the Teddy Bear daycare center on Oakland Park Boulevard around 9 p.m.

    They said a teacher made a mistake and put her on the wrong bus.
