Graffiti Taggers Target Weston

A group of vandals tagged various locations in Weston with graffiti, according to deputies.

The Broward Sheriff’s Office is looking for the suspects, who they say have vandalized Weston communities, businesses and city property over the last four months. Walls, utility sheds, bus stops and parking lots have all been targeted with different names and tags, according to a news release.

Deputies arrested a juvenile on Feb. 8th who was found riding his bike near a recent tag saying “Live and Death." Two spray cans and 26 spray paint caps were found in the suspect’s possession.

Officials said a group of individuals who live in the area, or frequent Weston often, are responsible for the vandalism.

BSO is asking anyone with information to call Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS (8477). A reward of up to $3,000 is available leading to an arrest.
