Gunman in Miami Club Shooting Caught

Police searching for driver of getaway vehicle

Police have arrested a man wanted for the murder of a man outside a Miami nightclub last week, but are looking for his accomplice.

Raul Alfonso Trejo Martinez, 29, has been charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of a man outside Studio 60 at 2300 Northwest 26 St. in the early hours of August 13.

Police found the victim, Frank Diaz, 26, after responding to calls of shots fired outside the club shortly before 4 a.m. Diaz was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital where he later died from gunshot wounds.

According to police, Diaz was approached by Martinez, who opened fire then hopped into a waiting vehicle.

Martinez was arrested, but police are still searching for his getaway driver, who was driving a newer model four-door Nissan Altima with dark tinted windows.
