Gunmen Behind Kendall Massage Parlor Robbery Sought by Police

Police in Kendall are looking for a pair of men who robbed a Kendall massage parlor at gunpoint back in November.

On November 21st, police say the gunmen walked into the massage parlor, located at 13205 S.W. 137th Avenue, and forced workers into a storage closet.

“They put a gun to my face,” said the spa’s owner Silvia Romero. “They put a gun to my employee’s neck. They grabbed her by the hair. They flipped one of our tables. It’s on the video.”

The robbers ransacked the massage rooms and stole $6,000 worth of items from the victim's purses. They also forced the terrified employees to hand over their jewelry.

“I felt like our lives were at stake and I was trying to protect my employees,” Romero said. “I felt responsible for their lives as well. A lot of us are single moms. We have families to take care of, so it’s not like we were looking for trouble or anything like that.”

The gunmen tried unsuccessfully to remove a safe from the business before driving off in a dark blue Honda Civic.

Police describe the gunmen as two white males in their mid-20s. Anyone with information is asked to call Miami-Dade Crimestoppers at (305) 471-TIPS.
