Gunshot Fired, Man Pistol-Whipped During Miami-Dade Robbery Spree

Police are searching for a pair of armed men who fired a gunshot and pistol-whipped a person during a robbery spree in the parking lot of a shopping center in northwest Miami-Dade last month that was caught on camera.

The violent robberies happened around 6:45 a.m. on Sept. 15 in the parking lot at 3755 Northwest 30th Avenue and were captured on surveillance video, Miami-Dade Police officials said.

According to police, the suspects approached a woman who was standing next to a vehicle in the parking lot and pointed a gun at her while demanding her property. One suspect then opened the door of the vehicle and pointed a gun at two people inside and demanded their property.

As the suspects walked away, one of them fired a gunshot in the direction of the victim. They then approached a man who was standing next to his vehicle and stole his property before they pistol-whipped him and fled the scene.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded and treated the man who was pistol-whipped at the scene. Police are still looking for the two suspects.

Anyone with information is asked to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
