The jailhouse chef was serving up more than eggs and bologna sandwiches, according to the Flagler County Sheriff's office. He was also filling out orders for drugs for inmates.
Scavetta, 48, was arrested earlier this week after undercover agents gave him some fake oxycodone to deliver to an inmate at the jail, according to theDaytona Beach News Journal.
Investigators had been looking into Scavetta's culinary skills for about a month before they busted him.
He is charged with attempted introduction of contraband into a detention facility; attempted delivery of a controlled substance into a detention facility; and introduction of contraband into a detention facility.
So far, Scavetta hasn't cooked up a good excuse why he had the drugs on him.
