Crews Respond to Hazmat Incident at High School in Davie

Firefighters respond to Western High School in Davie. NBC 6

Firefighters responded to a reported hazardous situation at Western High School in Davie Thursday.

Footage showed multiple crews at the school at 1200 Southwest 136th Avenue.

Davie Fire Rescue officials said crews were checking out an odor that was reported in a hallway.

Students were also being taken outside of the school around 12 p.m. as a precaution. No one was in danger, officials said, and students returned inside about 45 minutes later.

No other details were known.
