Heat Drop Third in a Row

The Heat lost their straight game on Sunday as the Bucks came away 91-84 winners

The Miami Heat lost Sunday's game to the Milwaukee Bucks 91-84 and have now been beaten in three straight.

For a second straight game, the Heat were without Dwyane Wade who continued to rest a hamstring injury. Up until last game, Wade had played in every game this year and the Heat are now 0-2 without him. Overall on the season, the Heat are 5-5 and have slipped to sixth in the conference standings.

Chris Bosh was off the mark for the entire game in what was one of the worst shooting nights of his career. Bosh was only 2-16 on his attempts and also missed three free throws in the second half. Even though Bosh struggled to put the ball in the basket he did contribute in other ways. The big man was solid defensively and have five blocks in the game. Bosh also had five rebounds and five assists.

Shawne Williams was the only reason that Miami was able to stay in the game as long as it did. Williams had a big fourth quarter as he scored 11 of his 13 points in the quarter. Williams also added 11 rebounds to give him a double-double. The forward who continues to fill in for Josh McRoberts was 3-6 on three point attempts.

Free throw shooting, three point shooting and rebounding were all once again reasons for the loss. Miami missed nine free throws while going 11-25 on trey attempts. In the rebound department, the Heat had 40 but only six were of the offensive variety. The lack of second-chance points proved costly in what was a close game down the stretch.

The Heat won't have much time to think about this one as they will be right back at it on Monday in Brooklyn against the Nets.
