Heat Players Visit Patients at Holtz Children's Hospital

The players, dancers, and even Bernie the Mascot handed out toys.

The Miami Heat helped to make this Christmas extra special for the kids at the Holtz Children's Hospital on Friday.

FedEx teamed up with the players, dancers, and even Burnie the Mascot to hand out toys to the young patients.

This year, LeBron James, Shane Battier, Udonis Haslem and many others handed out toys, iPod nanos, Miami Heat memorabilia and other Christmas gifts. The stars also signed autographs and posed for pictures.

Newly signed Battier took his role as Santa pretty seriously and asked the patients if they have been naughty or nice this year. He also gave toys to the patients' family members.

Other players sang songs to the children.

The Heat, who also held the event last year, plan on coming back next year too.
