Heat Release Home Portion of Preseason Schedule

The Heat released the home portion of their 2017-18 preseason schedule on Thursday

The Miami Heat announced three home games scheduled for the 2017-18 preseason on Thursday.

Miami will host the Atlanta Hawks on October 1st, to begin the preseason home schedule. The Hawks and Heat will tip things off at 6:00 p.m.

Over a week will go by until Miami's next home game and that will come against the Charlotte Hornets on October 9th. It is likely that the Heat will play at least one preseason game on the road between the home contests. The game with Charlotte will begin at 7:30 p.m.

Two days later, Miami will close out the hope part of the preseason schedule with a game against the Washington Wizards. The home finale has a scheduled start time of 7:30 p.m.

The rest of the preseason schedule will be released later in the off-season. NBA teams traditionally announce the home games prior to the remainder of the exhibition schedule.

Last preseason, Miami served as the home team in a couple of games played on neutral courts. It appears that all of Miami's preseason home games this year will come at AmericanAirlines Arena.

Tickets for these games will be available starting on April 28th at Heat.com
