Heat Wrap Up Road Trip With Third Straight Win

The Heat beat the Milwaukee Bucks 107-103 for a third straight win on Friday

The Miami Heat put together a solid road trip that concluded with a 107-103 win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday.

The win was the third in a row for Miami with all those victories coming away from home. The Heat ended up 3-2 on a trip that featured a multitude of injuries. In this game, Miami was without Hassan Whiteside once again.

After not playing for nearly three weeks, Goran Dragic made his triumphant return in the win. The point guard showed little rust while playing 32 big minutes. Dragic ended up with 12 points and eight assists, and was a big reason that the Heat came away winners.

Chris Bosh who was named as a reserve for the All-Star Game earlier this week contributed 20 points, six rebounds and five assists of his own. It was a strong outing for Bosh who was a clutch 8-9 from the free-throw line.

Leading the scoring for Miami was none other than All-Star Dwyane Wade with 24 points. The guard went to the line 13 times and sank ten of his attempts. Wade also tossed in seven assists, three steals and blocks. Of late, Wade has been putting on a show defensively and was a key reason for the successful road trip.

With Whiteside sidelines, Amar'e Stoudemire made another rare start. The veteran showed why Miami signed him for depth with his 12 points and eight boards. While Stoudemire is not the player he once was, he is more than capable of filling in when called upon.

Miami will host the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday in what will be a short one-game homestand.
