Hialeah Chevron Station Targeted by Robbers

Hialeah Police said they are looking for an armed robber who targeted a Chevron gas station near the intersection of East 8th Avenue and the Gratigny Parkway Saturday afternoon.

Police said the manager of the store said before they opened Saturday it looked like someone was casing the store. Around 10 a.m., somebody came in and stole a purse. Then hours later, on a different shift and with a different clerk, the gunman stormed in.

Hialeah Police said the suspect has gold teeth, around 5’8” tall and 175 pounds and was wearing red Nike sneakers. The suspect’s vehicle was described as a silver, 4-door sedan with black rims and smoked tail lights.

“At least let us know who he is and where we can find him,” said Carl Zogby of Hialeah Police. “We’re sure this is not the first time, and he got away with it, won’t be the last time. This is a dangerous guy.”

If you have any information about the shooting, call Hialeah Police or Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS (8477).
