Hialeah Police are investigating a terrifying armed robbery at a jewelry store.
It happened around 9 a.m. Thursday inside Ariel's Jewelry located at 2474 West 60th Street.
Police said two female employees were ambushed shortly after opening the store.
They said three masked suspects gained entry to the jewelry store by breaking through the dry-wall partition of an adjacent travel agency business.
A third female victim, an employee of the travel agency, was also assaulted when she walked into her store while the robbery was in progress.
Police said the victims were tied up and restrained during the incident but were not injured.
The suspects fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of jewelry.
