A Hialeah Police officer was rushed to the hospital after the patrol car he was driving hit a pole early Tuesday morning.
Officials say the officer, who has not been identified, crash just after 5 a.m. near East 4th Avenue and 4th Street. He was rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital as a trauma alert with a lower back injury, but was conscious as he was being transported and is expected to be okay.
