A Hialeah elementary school was briefly evacuated Thursday morning after a reported gas leak, officials said.
Miami-Dade firefighters responded to Joella C. Good Elementary at 6350 Northwest 188th Terrace to check on the leak.
Students were evacuated as a precaution while the leak was fixed and they were later allowed to return to class.
