A Hollywood man is behind bars, facing more than two dozens counts of child pornography. But this is not 26-year-old Alexander Whitaker's first child pornography arrest, police said.
On Tuesday Hollywood Police found more than two dozen videos of child pornography on Whitaker's laptop and flash drive, they said.
Back in 2004, when he was still in his teens, Whitaker was arrested for 30 counts of child porn and then was sentenced to community control and probation, police said.
In December his mother turned him in after finding photos and a video on his cell phone memory card, and Wednesday morning a judge said a parent of a child has also filed a restraining order against Whitaker after he sent him inappropriate texts.
"You texted nasty texts asking the son whether he knew what sex toys are and asking if the child wanted to spank you," the judge read.
Whitaker's bond was set at $1 million.
Roybert Rey lives two doors down from Whitaker and said even though they never really talked, he always thought something wasn't right with him.

"It wasn't a good feeling coming from him," Rey said. "He would come in at night and not talk to anybody. He was always very private."
In January, Whitaker was also busted for lying about having email addresses. He failed to register those addresses, his Facebook page, or update his Florida ID card, authorities said.
