The Home Depot announced Tuesday that they'll be hiring 500 new associates for 20 stores in Miami and Fort Lauderdale in preparation for spring.
The South Florida hiring spree is part of a nationwide hiring initiative that seeks to fill 80,000 jobs as the company gets ready for what is typically their busiest season.
Positions available include sales and cashiers to operations and online order fulfillment. Opportunities available include both permanent, part-time and seasonal positions within the company's stores and distribution facilities.
The Home Depot is the world's largest home improvement specialty retailer, with 2,269 retail stores in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, 10 Canadian provinces and Mexico.
