A homeless couple was rushed to the hospital after being struck by a car in Miami early Thursday morning.
Miami Police officials say the couple was crossing Flagler Street near 48th Avenue before 7 a.m. when they were hit by a Nissan Altima that was traveling westbound.
Both of the victims were transported to Ryder Trauma Center in critical condition. Officials have not released their identities at this time.
The driver of the car stayed on the scene as officials continue to investigate.
