An Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer was involved in a shooting in Deerfield Beach Thursday, authorities said.
Broward Sheriff's Office officials said deputies responded to a report of a shooting by an ICE officer in the 200 block of Northeast 40th Court just after 12 p.m.
No one was injured in the shooting.
ICE officials said one person was taken into custody. The officer who fired their weapon is part of a fugitive task force, officials said.
No other details were immediately known.
