Immigration officers have reportedly arrived at a farming city in Southwest Florida ahead of raids on undocumented immigrants scheduled to take place this weekend across the country.

Sources told NBC 6's sister station Telemundo 51 that agents from Immigration and Customs Enforcement have arrived in the city of Immokalee, located in Collier County just east of Fort Myers – saying agents left the ICE office in Miramar early Friday morning for the first phase of raids under a plane from the administration of President Donald Trump.

The Miami area is one of 10 cities reportedly set for raids by ICE agents as part of a plan that was delayed by Trump and officials in an effort for the administration and top members of Congress, both Republicans and Democrats, to work out a compromise on immigration reform.

Sources told Telemundo 51 that no arrests have been made as of Friday morning. Around 2,000 families are expected to be targeted by agents in the first set of raids.
