Authorities say an 11-month-old girl appears to have drowned in a pond at a Florida apartment complex.
The Tampa Bay Times reports that deputies responded Monday to the Lucerne Apartments in Brandon.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office says the girl's parents rushed her to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Investigators weren't immediately saying how the girl ended up in the pond or how she was found.
The sheriff's office wasn't immediately naming the victim or her parents.
