When a cancer patient loses their hair, it can often add stress to an already difficult situation.
One South Florida salon owner decided to alleviate some of that anxiety by donating wigs for cancer patients who have lost their hair.
Diana Green, otherwise known as "Miss Bodacious," is the owner of Bodacious Beauty Salon in North Miami Beach and will make the donations at Saturday's Soca 5k Breast Cancer Awareness Walk and Run event in Coconut Creek.
"To make a woman feel good is always my joy and pleasure," said Green, who lost her grandmother to breast cancer in 2011.
Green will be joined by Miss Miami Gardens Teen USA Kiara Francis at the event.
