Lost Puppy Seeking Owner at Fontainebleau Miami Beach

The hotel is waiting for the puppy's owner to claim the doggie, which was found in the FB Pets Park around noon Wednesday

A lost puppy was found behind the Fontainebleau Miami Beach Wednesday – and the hotel is looking to reunite the pet with its owner.

Security staffers found the dog around noon in the FB Pets Park, which is where guests go to take their pets for a walk, hotel spokeswoman Ana Lanzas said.

She said the dog, which was just groomed, is believed to be a mixed terrier and is about a year old.

He was checked for a microchip that would reveal who his owner is, but he doesn't have one.

Lanzas asked guests of the pet-friendly hotel who recognize the puppy as theirs to come forward so they can claim him.

“But in the meantime, we at the Fontainebleau are watching the doggie,” she said.

Anyone with information should call the hotel at 305-538-2000.
