The individual finals for Florida's "Louder Than a Bomb" youth poetry contest will take place Thursday night at Nova Southeastern University.
The 13 finalists from high schools in Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach and St. Lucie counties will compete in the event, which begins at 7 p.m.
"Louder Than a Bomb" is an 11-day festival hosted by the Jason Taylor Foundation and funded by NSU and the Miami Dolphins Foundation and Knight Foundation.
The team finals will take place Saturday at 6 p.m. All events are at the Rose & Alfred Miniaci Performing Arts Center at NSU.
