Man Accused of Exposing Himself to Girl in Cooper City May Have More Victims: BSO

Authorities say a man accused of exposing himself to a 14-year-old girl in Cooper City may have committed similar acts on other victims.

Pedro Rivera Raymundo, 30, was arrested back on Nov. 12 on a charge of lewd and lascivious exhibition, Broward Sheriff's Office officials said.

The charge stemmed from a Nov. 7 incident when the teen girl was walking in the 5200 block of Southwest 100th Avenue when she was approached by Raymundo, who asked for directions, officials said. During the encounter, Raymundo unzipped his pants and exposed himself, officials said.

Raymundo drove away but the girl was able to get his license plate number. A countywide alert was issued and he was arrested.

After further investigation, Raymundo was also charged with indecent exposure for an Oct. 7, 2017 incident in Dania Beach, officials said. Detectives believe Raymundo, who also goes by Peter, may have committed similar acts on unknown victims.

Anyone who believes Raymundo victimized them should contact Cooper City Det. Christopher Neves at 954-435-2200 Ext. 275.
